First steps in photography with his „spy camera“ from Minox when he was about 10 years old.
1981 – bought his first reflex camera. Started an autodidact education with helps of a comprehensive book series from Kodak plus theoretical and photographic works of Anselm Adams; primarily typical family and vacation photography as well as first tries to use photography artistically.
2012 – Trip to India and resumption of his photographic work with a 35mm camera after a long break. A switch to a full format digital equipment and more travel reports about Asia followed.
2018 – Decision to take photography more serious. Study of digital photography at LIK academy for photo and design, Vienna – Graduation with Distinction in 2020
2020 – Start of the study „Masterclass Artistic Photography“ at LIK academy for photo and design, Vienna.
