Otto Glanznig – alias “Pinsel”.
Born on March 19, 1961 in Millstatt.

I work as a freelance painter, often also as a restorer of buildings and furniture. I take on commissioned work for portraits and graphics.

From 1980 to 1982, I attended the master class for painting in Baden near Vienna.

Since 2021, I have been intensively engaged in acrylic painting, specifically abstract landscape painting on wood or canvas. After completion, they are coated multiple times with high-gloss epoxy resin to give them their own character, increase their three-dimensionality and color intensity. And to visually demonstrate the protection of the landscape and environment with epoxy resin.

From 1985, I participated in several group exhibitions at the Kurhaus Millstatt am See.

In 1995, I had a solo exhibition of watercolors under the theme “A New Cycle: Viva Venezia” at the Kurhaus Millstatt.

In 1996, I had a solo exhibition of mixed media works under the theme “Mixtures: Mirrors of Dreams”.

In 2023, I will participate in a group exhibition at Expo Metro in Barcelona.
