Melinda Horváth

Born on October 1, 1963 in Székelyudvarhely, Transylvania, Romania.

Since 1986, I have been living in Austria with my family.

In Romania, I completed 4 years of art secondary school and then graduated from a real gymnasium. In Austria, I have taken several courses and seminars with artists, including three years with Prof. Haas at the adult education center in Wiener Neustadt. I successfully completed the courses “ABC Art School Paris” and Advertising Graphics at the Humboldt Distance Learning Institute. After 4 years of study, I received a diploma as a creative trainer in 2008 and a diploma as an art therapist in 2011.

For the past 13 years, I have been participating in a Hungarian artist camp for 2 weeks every summer. I have also participated in artist camps in Romania and Serbia. I have had several solo and group exhibitions in Romania, Hungary, and Austria. In Wiener Neustadt, I have exhibited at Pablo-Farben Fischer and in the hospital, Carmelite Church, Women’s Counseling Center, and the savings bank.

I have also had several group exhibitions in Vienna, Mattersburg, and Wiener Neustadt.
